About Power Planning and Monitoring Company (PPMC)

PPMC is mandated to provide policy and technical support to the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan. Available Positions

PPMC is hiring Management Trainee Officers in the following disciplines:

1. Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Data Science

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in deploying machine learning and AI models under supervision.

• Support data engineering tasks including data cleaning and preprocessing.

• Contribute to large language model (LLM) workflows and generative AI applications.

• Prepare model documentation, performance reports, and data visualizations.

2. Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Economics

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to cost-benefit analysis and financial feasibility studies.

3. Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Human Resources (HR)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain employee records and HR databases.

General Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 4.00 out of 5.00, or 80% marks (for local graduates).

• For foreign graduates, minimum 65% marks with equivalence from HEC/PEC (if applicable).

• Degree must not be older than three (3) years from the date of advertisement.

• Fresh graduates from reputable institutions are encouraged to apply.

• Maximum age limit: 30 years as of the closing date.

• No age relaxation will be permitted.

Compensation & Contract Terms

• Selected candidates will be offered a monthly remuneration package of Rs. 100,000 (lump sum).

• Initial engagement will be for one year.

• Performance will be evaluated for potential placement as Assistant Specialist or Assistant Manager, subject to availability of positions.

• Contract may be terminated if performance criteria are not met.
