Required Qualifications
Director (Technical) – BPS-19
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (recognized by PEC), preferably in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mining / Electrical Engineering
- OR Master’s Degree in:
- Petroleum Engineering
- Geology
- Gas Technology
- Additional qualifications such as BS-18 or equivalent experience in government, semi-government, or reputable private organizations will be preferred.
Deputy Director (Technical) – BPS-18
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (PEC recognized), preferably Mechanical / Mining / Electrical
- OR Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering / Geology / Gas Technology
- Relevant experience in petroleum-related fields required.
Director / Deputy Director (General Posts)
- Bachelor’s Degree, B.E, BS, or other relevant qualifications as per job requirements.
Experience Requirements
- Director (Technical): Minimum 12 years of relevant petroleum sector experience in BPS-18 or equivalent position.
- Deputy Director (Technical): Minimum 5 years of relevant petroleum field experience in BPS-17 or equivalent.
- Experience must be in Government, Semi-Government, or reputed private sector organizations.
Age Limit
- Director (Technical): 32–40 years
- Deputy Director (Technical): 25–35 years
- Age relaxation will be admissible as per Government rules.
