Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced new management-level career opportunities for qualified and experienced professionals. These positions are offered on a contract basis under a market-based lump sum package.
LESCO is seeking competent, dynamic, and self-motivated individuals for roles in its Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD) and other operational areas.

Available Positions
Manager (Legal)
Age Limit: Up to 50 Years
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from HEC-recognized university
- Master’s in Law or Barrister-at-Law will be an added advantage
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate, regulatory, or contract matters
- Preference for candidates with power sector experience
- Knowledge of electricity laws, regulations, and bilateral contracts
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support in competitive electricity market implementation
- Handle compliance, dispute resolution, and legal proceedings
- Represent LESCO in hearings and legal matters
Deputy Manager (Legal / Contract)
Age Limit: Up to 45 Years
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Law, or Management Sciences (HEC recognized)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in bilateral contracts, bidding, and agreements
- Understanding of contract administration and regulatory compliance
- Power sector experience preferred
Assistant Manager (Transmission Planning)
Age Limit: Up to 32 Years
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (HEC recognized)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience (preferably in power sector)
- Experience in transmission planning at 132KV level
- Knowledge of tools such as PSS/E or ETAP
- Experience in capital budgeting and PC-1 preparation preferred
Role:
- Responsible for transmission planning activities of LESCO
Assistant Manager (Demand Forecasting)
Age Limit: Up to 32 Years
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (HEC recognized)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Experience in demand forecasting and power sector preferred
- Understanding of medium-term and consolidated demand forecasting
Role:
- Develop and manage medium-term electricity demand forecasts
Employment Details
- Positions are purely contractual
- Non-pensionable
- No long-term benefits
- Cannot be converted to permanent positions
- Market-based lump sum salary package
- Six months’ probation period
